Gilbert Rodeo Park is available for rent/lease throughout the year. Scheduling is done on a September-August year, first come first serve basis. Requests for calendar dates can be submitted in September for the following year.
Any GPC sponsored event has priority on the schedule. Also given priority are events and/or organizations that have scheduled events in prior years and non-profit organizations.
All scheduling will be by written request sent to GPC, Box 665 Gilbert, Arizona 85299-0665. NO DATES ARE FINAL UNLESS CONFIRMED BY GPC.
Gilbert Rodeo Park consists of 47 acres with multiple arenas, snack bars, dance floor and stage. The main arena is 279 x 145 feet, 6 bucking shoots, roping boxes, stripping shoots, return lane, ample holding pens and enough bleacher seating for 3400. It can accommodate any rodeo event. There are two announcers stands, one a ground level and one over the arena at approximately 20 feet in height, both with sound equipment. The second arena can accommodate barrel racing, pole bending and goat tying or any event that does not require shoots or pens. It has a small announcer's stand but has no sound equipment. It is 245 x 145 feet and has a limited amount of bleacher seating. The third arena is a 90 x 50 foot warm-up arena. There is lighting available in the main arena only.
Also in the main arena area are permanent portable bathrooms, two concession stands that are available by request only, a stage and dance floor. The stage and dance floor are included at no cost with rental of the main arena or can be rented separately for $150/day and $2 million liability insurance. There is enough parking at both the north and south ends of Rodeo Park to accommodate approximately 3500 vehicles.

Additional Considerations:

There is a $2 per contestant arena fee per event for equestrian events only.

Lease cost includes first workup of the arena. Any additional arena workup is at an additional cost of $25/workup.

$2 million liability insurance required of everyone renting/leasing the arena with GPC, Town of Gilbert and Maricopa County being listed as additional insured.

If there are over 150 contestants for any event, there is an additional $50/each, 50 contestants rental fee assessed.
